The main objective of Odessa museums like Roerich House is a comprehensive study of the scientific and circulated throughout the creative legacy of the Roerich family - the world-renowned artist, writer, social activist Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947), the most profound philosopher-orientalist Helena Roerich (1879-1955), wife of Nicholas Roerich, and their sons - orientalist George Roerich (1902-1963) and the artist and scientist Sviatoslav Roerich (1904-1993). However, the legacy of the Roerich family can not be understood without touching the origins of world religions and philosophies. This is taken into account when organizing the Ukraine Museum's collection, which is one of the cultural centers of Odessa and Ukraine as a whole, and actively collaborates with museums, scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad.
